Cross-Country Road Trip: Chicago

After we finished the Mini and cleaned ourselves up, we packed ourselves back up and headed to our next stop - Chicago!

The day was a little dreary (maybe?  It's been awhile, but the picture looks kind of glum, right?), but Claudius and I had some fun taking some pictures together.  Well, I had fun anyway.

Nah, just tired!

My cousin Andrea was nice enough to let Marek, Claudius, Eddie, and I stay at her apartment for the night.  We went to dinner with her and her then-boyfriend/now-fiancee Mike and had a nice time catching up and relaxing.  This was our last stop before the REALLY long and boring part of the drive.  Up until this point, we had been making stops here and there, which helped to break up the trip into manageable sections.

After dinner we hung out for a bit and then went to bed.  We had to be up early for the drive the next morning.  Claudius was very excited to meet his Auntie Andrea in person though!  He was mostly a good boy, at least from what I remember. :)
